Hello! I'm Jackie J Kearney, a creative professional based in New York City, specializing in communications and music marketing.

I hold a B.A. in Communications from Marymount Manhattan College, where I maintained a GPA between 3.5 and 4.0, earned several academic scholarships, and was honored to present my senior thesis at the University's Honors Day.

As the Creative Director at Sneaker Legal, I bridge the gap between artistry and legality, focusing on brand alignment and intellectual property rights in the creative industry. My role involves extensive research into copyright and sampling laws, and I'm adept at navigating trademark applications through the TESS system.

In March 2024, I co-founded CommonPlace Music, an independent techno record label dedicated to fostering community and authenticity. I lead creative direction for events and releases, curating a dynamic roster of artists while ensuring that every experience is immersive and engaging.

I'm also actively involved with The Recording Academy's Grammy U program, where I have the privilege of being mentored by the Vice President of Marketing at Roc Nation. This experience has deepened my understanding of music marketing and artist development through exclusive events and masterclasses.

Previously, I served as the Creative Director and Art Director at Artis Entertainment Group, managing the image and promotional materials for over ten artists and producers. My diverse background also includes teaching equestrian riding lessons, which honed my leadership and organizational skills.

I am skilled in graphic design, digital marketing, event planning, and relationship building, among others. I thrive in collaborative environments and am committed to using my talents to make a meaningful impact in the music and creative industries.
